Star in His Eyes is a zine that focuses on the relationship between Dimitri and m!Byleth.💙 Does the zine have a theme?Our theme is travel. But it can mean whatever you want it to mean. Travel to physical locations that exist in the world of FE3H. Travel to real world locations. Travel across timelines. Travel to modern times. Get wild with the interpretation!💚 Is Byleth the star in the title?Yes ☺
No need to send us samples of your work. As long as you love mdimileth, we'd love to have you join us! 💙💚
Because this zine is all about mDimileth, we will ask contributors to refrain from submitting works with polyamory, infidelity, or side ships.
While the zine itself is download-only, we want to make sure that the final pdf can be printed if you wish. Because of this, we will still require artists to provide print-ready copies of their entries.
There is no limit to the number of participants. The more, the merrier! 💙💚
About the mods
💙 ten ( ten_dmlt | epithalamium@ao3 ) is the mod who writes. They played Fire Emblem Three Houses as a distraction from quitting smoking and has been obsessed with Byleth ever since. This is their first time modding a zine, but they have almost ten years of experience modding events such as big bangs and exchange fests. They are the current mod of mDimileth week and CasAshe week.💚 earnono ( earnonoart ) is one of the mods of the mDimileth zine. She played Fire Emblem Three Houses in late 2020 and came to love Byleth and mdimileth. She has joined multiple events and free zines from different fandoms. She also drew the banner for mDimileth week. This will be her first time modding a zine.

Requirements and Info
• No need to send us a sample of your work. As long as you sign up, you're in.• We'll ask you to send us a pitch proposal by 28 October. All pitches will be approved as long as they are related to the theme. We just want to have an idea of what you're making. Multiple pitches are allowed and encouraged.• The word count limit is minimum 1.5k words with a maximum of 2.5k words.• All fanfic must be beta read before they are included in the zine layout. We will provide writers with a beta pool they can choose from.
For artists

They don't need to be A5, but should still be 300dpi with a transparent background.FOR ANALOG ARTISTS:• Full illustrations must be drawn on unruled paper (or your preferred canvas). For best results, we recommend 200gsm and thicker.• Small illustrations are allowed. But since we would edit several small artworks in one page, we will be cleaning your work to make it have a transparent background.• Please scan your work no lower than A5 size, with 300 dpi.• If you would rather take a picture of your work instead of scanning, please read the requirements for multi-media artists.FOR MULTI-MEDIA ARTISTS:• Recommended picture size is 4:3, 12 megapixels (MP). For best results, please don't submit any photo smaller than 6.2MP.• To avoid confusion, please refrain from taking photos of official materials and merch (for example: official plush toys or figures). We're very sorry for the bother, but since this is a fanzine, we'd rather not have official images just to be on the safe side.
